DriftNote ("the app", "we", "us") is an anonymous note-drifting social app that lets people write short notes, discover notes from strangers, reply, and chat. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We are committed to collecting the minimum data needed to run the service.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run the app: cloud hosting, IP-to-city geolocation, content-moderation, and push-notification delivery. They may process data only on our behalf.
You can permanently delete your account at any time from Me → Delete account. This removes your profile, notes, replies, conversations, and messages. You may also email us to request deletion. We retain data only as long as needed to provide the service or meet legal obligations.
Depending on your region (e.g., EEA/UK under GDPR, California under CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to certain processing. We do not sell personal information ("Do Not Sell" applies by default). To exercise any right, contact us below.
DriftNote is intended for users aged 17 and older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 17. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. Our servers may be located outside your country; by using the app you consent to such transfer.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
